A lovely little hideaway in a beautiful village on the edge of Dartmoor. Pat and Dave were wonderfully accommodating and kind, made us a delicious cream tea on arrival and were there to answer questions when needed without ever being intrusive.

This was our second visit as we liked it so much. If you want peace and quiet you couldn't find anywhere better…A perfect position for walking on Dartmoor or visiting the coast. We’ll be back for a third time!

I can highly recommend The Annexe; both Pat and Dave are lovely people and faultless hosts. The Annexe itself is stunning, well equipped but full of charm. We look forward to returning later in the year to explore further! 5 Stars!

“The cottage was perfect.”

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The cottage was perfect. It looked even better in person than in the pictures. The gardens and sculptures were beautiful and very relaxing. It was an easy walk to a small store where you could pick up food to cook at home and there are also two pubs within easy walking distance that had great food. Tavistock was an easy 5 or so minute drive away. Pat and Dave were great hosts. Ready to help or happy to give us our privacy. I would definitely recommend staying here.

“We will be back!”

A warm, cosy, relaxing place to stay both in the cooler and warm months with a lovely garden to sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The log burning stove and fireplace in the room adds a lot of character and was a real novelty. The cream tea when we arrived from Pat was a lovely touch and really appreciated after a days traveling. Remember your walking boots to make the most of really helpful books provided for walking and to navigate Dartmoor. Thank you so much Pat and Dave - we will be back!
